Fisher Ranch - Eufaula, OK
Beginning as part of the Creek Nation the Roy Fisher Ranch was originally broken up into 160 acre allotments.  In the late 1930's the reassembling into a ranch began.  There were 4,000 acres in the ranch in 1954 when Fisher took over the operation.  Today the ranch totals more than 15,000 acres.  The Roy Fisher Ranch is a family operation with four sons and a daughter, all are still involved in today's operation.

The breeding program started in 1949.  One of our original brood mares was Trixie Blake 1326, daughter of Bert 227.  She produced 3 A2HA Champions:   Bert Leo, A2HA Champion Cutting and Roping; Star Poco, A2HA Champion Roping 1961; Double Bert Leo, Oklahoma State Champion Barrel Racing, 1966.  A large number of American top RCA & IRA Cowboys and Cowgirls have ridden our horses to the pay windows of the Nation's Rodeos.

A commercial Angus cow herd numbers around 1,500 and Hereford and Charolais bulls are used in their crossbreeding program.  Approximately 3,000 yearlings are grazed annually and ownership of the cattle are maintained through the feedlot until slaughter.

The Fisher Ranch has been active with the OCA for 45 years and are active in NCA plus the McIntosh County Cattlemen's Association.
